A recent research conducted by Procter and Gamble, manufacturers of beauty products, established that redheads learn early to defend their personalities and justify their natural yet unusual hair color. This helps then in establishing very distinct personal traits that are essential in making it in this competitive world. That is just one of the many research studies conducted to establish why redheads always seem to be performers in their respective trades, more than the comparative population of normal haired people.

The most consistent finding in these studies about redheads is that they are fiercly independent, aggressive, warm and friendly. That is debatable since establishing those traits need much more than asking someone a set of questions. But the reality still remains that we have had great men and women who have walked this globe in different times and settings, and who have been among the most famous redhead celebrities of all time. Other respected and famous redheads include Lindsay Lohan, Alyson Hannigan, Kate Winslet, Julianna Moore, Gillian Anderson, Molly Ringwald, Marilu Henner and before Marilyn Monroe came along, there was the indomitable Norma Jean. All these have inspired global support in their acting careers and they continue to showcase the red hair phenomenal on the silver screen. The early representations of the Biblical Mary Magdalene in art depict her as a redhead, with long majestically flowing red hair. Although such a description of red hair lacks in the Bible, maybe she too, was a redhead celebrity of her time.

The truth is that the impressive list of famous redhead celebrities who have graced our world in different times cannot be compiled in a single article. The basics are to know that they have been there, and more will continue to rise to stardom every day the sun sets. Being a marginal percentage of the population on earth, such a number of redheads rising to the echelons of power and or entertainment or sports, cannot go unnoticed or unheralded.
